Our vision is to build on the succes of the magazine’s traditional print platfrom. Christmas 2009 will see the launch of the Stlye of Wight Online. An extensive and interactive website. Updated daily, readers will be able to subscribe to RSS feeds and add thier own news via a blog, download recipes and features from current and previous issues, even subcribe to advertisers vouchers and the diary of events. We will also be using the site to perform an extensive readership survey. Giving advertisers a true demographic of thier audience, and our readers.
Birth...
Sunday morning 10.45am I find myself once again perched at my breakfast bar, the childrens muffled demands fading into the background as I become completely absorbed by my favourite Sunday supplement.
11.27am best friend arrives and is excited to be clutching the very same magazine...(oops, forgot to inform good friend that I had already made the purchase!)
11.33am a fresh cup of tea and the ritual begins...
Horoscopes first closely followed by the latest gossip, news and trends. After dissecting the glossy's we get down to the real gossip and what's happening on our very own doorsteps..
And so...at 11.55am on a relaxed Sunday morning with my best buddy (over the breakfast bar of course) ' the creak' is born.
