Joe’s in Ryde is a name synonymous with good food and great atmosphere and to build on that reputation and bring it up a notch the new owners have opened Pescados on the first floor of Joe’s. There are not many quality restaurants specialising in fish on the Island and the specialist menu at Pescados is the perfect complement to what’s on offer at Joe’s, which is already proving popular with locals and visitors, with a regular clientele returning time and again.

Established in 1994, The Great Taste Awards is a recognised accreditation scheme organised by The Guild of Fine Foods. Products bearing the logo have been independently proven to be of origin and quality and the awards are now seen as a benchmark for excellence. So what does it all mean? The one, two are three star ratings are established on the premise that a one star is a perfect food or drink, a two star is absolutely sublime and three star is that moment you turn to the person next to you and exclaim “Wow! You must try this, it’s amazing!”
