It’s a simple idea but one which sets it apart on the high street. Small things make having a hair or beauty treatment at Jaks a memorable and enjoyable experience. A nice cup of coffee served with a smile by a smartly-dressed, attentive staff member.
Or the option of a relaxing, professional Shiatsu head massage as your locks are transformed. Each client old or new is treated with exactly the same high standards. Style of Wight tasted the experience while enjoying a makeover at Jaks.
We booked an appointment to try the latest evolution in hair colour - Wella 3D. This all-new treatment creates innovative, multi-dimensional colour effects. Layers of multiple shades are exposed and hidden depending on the light reflection and angle you look at the hair. Wella Professionals’ Global Colour Ambassador John Wood explains: “3D is everywhere right now. “With its roots in film and entertainment, 3D now influences all aspects of our culture from fashion to the arts and now beauty. “The 3D colour technique creates hair colour that’s bigger, better and bolder than ever before. “It gives the illusion of light going into dark going into light, creating new depth and dimension.”
Colour trends for summer from Wella are Passionista and Lumina. The Passionista woman goes for varying shades of red to celebrate her modern sophistication and self-confidence.
Meanwhile, the Lumina woman encapsulates simplistic indulgence, uncompromising quality and impeccable standards.
The mesmerising mix of sandy blondes and golden huescombined with on-trend cool roses give this look a jewel-like quality.
Paul added: “3D Colour Effects delivers finely graded nuances that broaden your creative possibilities and enhance hair in exciting new ways. It’s all a variation of depth via the same colour with different tones. It really has to be seen to be believed.”
