Hidden Gems at Isle of Wight Pearl

Jon and Ros Tallon have joined forces again after almost 5 years working apart and are promising exciting things at the Isle of Wight Pearl Café. The location boasts some truly spectacular views and they aim to do the same with the food.
A professional couple who last worked together at their Yarmouth restaurant “Sian-Elins”, Jon and Ros have taken up the challenge of introducing new menus, attracting wider audiences and making the Café a real food destination. ‘Don’t get me wrong’, explains Jon, ‘there’s nothing wrong with tea and cakes, but we are aiming to raise the bar a little’. They are introducing High Tea’s with home-made cakes and specialist scones - couple this with the new lunch specials like local Lobster Salads and a daily specials board, you can start to get a feel to where they are going.
They are obviously excited by this new challenge and the opportunities it brings. By bringing with them previous contacts and relationships with local suppliers they look set to do great things. Specialising in fresh fish and French style cuisine Jons attention to detail in his presentation is beautiful and we believe Ros has the vision to deliver it to the customer.
Style of Wight magazine thinks this is definitely one to keep your eye on.
