INVERTED TRIANGLE
For ladies with a bigger bust
• Definitely go for the integrated
bra top, making sure the bust is well
supported, giving you shape and
confidence around the pool
• Fit is important - make sure the cups
fit properly, avoiding the four boob
effect, therefore go for a balconett
not plunge style top
• Halter neck styles are good, as long
as straps are wide enough to support
the bust weight comfortably
• A solid block colour on the top
diverts attention, but patterns are fine
if it fits well
• String bikini bottoms can be
flattering, but keep strings below the
waistline
DON’T
• Go for ruffles, frills, stringy styles or
big patterns on your top.
TRIANGLE
For narrow shouldered figures
• A two piece bikini is likely to work
better for you than a one piece
swimsuit
• Look for bikini tops that are padded
or enhance cleavage to balance out
your shape
• Lighter patterned tops with darker
or block coloured bottoms will shift
attention from your bottom
• Tops with wide set straps will help
disguise narrow shoulders
• Draw side bottoms will enable you
to modify the shape and size of the
garment to suit your shape
DON’T
• Wear vertical stripes on your
bottom half
• Wear short or super high cut leg
style bikini bottoms.
RECTANGLE
The straight up and down body
• For upper portion, choose halter
tops in lighter shades or with fun
ruffles.
• To curve your waist, contrast the top
piece with the bottom.
• Look for prints, ruffles and other
cute details that add curves.
• If choosing a one piece, look for lots
of pattern or detail around the waist
area
DON’T
• Choose a one piece swimsuit in a
block colour
Whether you’re curvy and full-figured or stick-thin and boyish, top-heavy, bottom-heavy, or
somewhere in between, our tricks of the trade will have you looking like a water babe this
summer.
...So whatever your shape,
be confident and get ready
to make heads turns
