The Loved Ones. Talented jewellery maker prepares to showcase her latest collection.

Her RCA collection of around 25 exquisite pieces, ranging from £50 to £2,000, sold out. It saw her gain attention and orders from some of the UK’s top shops and galleries. But instead Sophie returned to her roots and opened a shop and studio
in her hometown of Ventnor. Gorgeous boutique Honeybourne Jewellery features unique, ever-changing, inspirational collections.
All pieces are made on the premises and will even incorporate your personal stones into a custom item. Her dramatic, ethereally pretty necklaces in summery ice cream hues are hugely sought after. Fans even make special pilgrimages to the Island just to visit the shop and meet Sophie. Now she is set to unveil her latest silver work this month at an exhibition
titled ‘The Loved Ones’. Inspired by childhood memories and all that came after, it starts on Friday July 22nd with a private viewing from 7pm.
It is then open Saturday 23rd from 10am till 4pm and 6pm till 9pm and Sunday 24th from 10am till 5pm. On show will be stunning silver and gold pieces based around ‘The Loved Ones’ brief.
Sophie said: “This has been a fantastic opportunity to let my imaginationtake complete control without any thoughts to wearability. “In doing soI discovered new inspiration for wearable pieces that will feature in the exhibition. “This collection explores memories and loved ones, past and present.
“It is about the experiences of being a daughter, a sister and a grandchild, featuring wild meadows, veg patches, BMX’s and fancy dress.”
Sophie’s friend and artist Tania Dixcey has created dark, intriguingly beautiful narrative illustrations and paintings to revolve around the collection. The exhibition will take place through the archway next to Honeybourne Jewellery.
