The opening of the new lifestyle boutique Smith & Stephenson on Union Street Ryde was held on 1^st November. Set up by Beth and Andrea combing their professions of Architect/Interior designer and PR and Events management.  The evening was fuelled with champagne and mini chocolate cupcakes for all to enjoy from the Local Town Crier to the smallest members of the family. A raffle ensued offering a number of tantalizing prizes.

The idea for the enterprise came about when the pair joined up to redecorate Andrea’s house in Ryde. Andrea recalls that “it took us about a year to change the idea into reality”. The business intends to provide a refuge for those terrified at the thought of Christmas shopping in a Man’s Christmas event. They are also planning a pre-Christmas preview evening, and will show a presence on their stall at the Ryde Christmas Fair. Gift wrapping and Wish List services are also available. Opening hours 9am-5pm.
