Stephen Perloff, noted American photographic curator, photo-historian, publisher and editor of Photo Review has curated this exhibit, ‘Shadows of Delight’. In his comments regarding Sadan’s work he mentions his varied creative journey as an actor, director and film maker with work shown at the Museum of Modern Art and in their collection, all leading to his photographic art.

“Sadan has written that he works with what enchants him, that he follows his heart’s passion…In the images of Sadan one finds magic and imagination, the play and innocence of childhood, the joy of dance, the sensuality of the human form and the wonder of nature’s landscape…These are all elements and a part of Sadan’s exploration and journey…The diversity and mixture is quite a delight!”

Always it is his passion which leads Mark on a journey of seeking and discovering the theme and the process for realising the images we see.
