Four in a Bed descends on Gurnard  - A Big Experience for The Little Gloster.

It may not be to everyone’s taste, but who can ignore the power of TV coverage especially in the current climate.

So The Little Gloster in Gurnard took the plunge and accepted an invitation from Channel Four to participate in the show, being aired on Channel 4 for five days from Monday 14th November at 5pm to 2.5 million viewers.

The Little Gloster name honors his grandparents, who owned the sadly departed Gloster Hotel in Cowes – once one of the most prestigious hotels on the Island and former home of the Royal Yacht Squadron, so who better to join him for The Little Gloster’s TV debut than his 81 year old Danish grandmother Lilian Bateman, who has more than 50 years experience in the hotel industry.

The five part 30 minute show, took over 3 weeks of intensive filming to complete, and saw Ben and Lilian visiting three other B&B owners across the country including Sandie from Canterbury, Steve from the Heart of England and Stephen & Beverly from Devon, but you’ll have to watch to see the results as all are sworn to secrecy…
