Following its very successful launch in February, the much awaited ‘Pop-Inn’ will return for a third time on Saturday 20th August 2016.

The ‘Pop-Inn’ is a local project that provides a social occasion for villagers, friends and neighbours to come together, and this is the third of what is hoped to be a series of ‘Pop-Up Pubs’ in the community in support of village and Island causes. Organisers Gareth Rider & Zoe Rhind report: “We were blown-away with the attendance and positive feedback from the first and second ‘Pop-Inn’s.’  We had well over 150 visitors through the door.”

“Guests are welcomed to come along, stay for 20 minutes or as long as they like, have a drink and meet with new and old friends: enjoy a different experience in Chillerton!” adds organiser Steve Hoyle.

This time the venue will be held at the old Wesleyan Chapel at the top end of Chillerton village, which is set to be transformed into a rustic and gloriously cosy rural pub! All are welcome for an afternoon / evening of conversation, laughter and music.  “There will be locally produced real ale and cider with wine, spirits and Pimms! Also snacks and light meals available to those who fancy a nibble” comments organisers Paul and Kate Wells.

The ‘Pop-Inn’ is on a roll, first Glencoe, then Lisle Barn, now the old Wesleyan – who knows where it will pop-up next!!
